Be your own Groupon

We have just launched a new useful feature to help you promote your business: limited promotions!

By now you have probably heard about Groupon and the many other companies promoting amazing 'deal of the day' offers in partnership with businesses of every kind.

We think this is a great idea, and millions of people obviously agree.

But what if you want more control over your promotion? It is not easy to be picked as "deal of the day", the commission rates are very high, you have no choice on the date your offer will be featured. And yet you have a lot of work to do to manually validate each coupon, and customers must print their coupon too, or at least bring their own coupon number. Too much hassle!

Bookeo comes to help. With this new feature, you can run a promotion - say 40% discount on service 'Abc' to the first 100 people booking, but only until the end of today (or the week, etc.).

Then you can publish on your Facebook account, Twitter, etc. Bookeo even integrates with Twitter, and you can publish your promotion in one click! Or list it in Craigslist, or... anywhere really!

Your Customers simply click on the link you publish, and are brought directly to book you at the discounted price, online. They select a date and time online. They pay online. And you don't have to lift a finger.

It's easier for your customers, and it's easier for you. And no commissions to pay!

And you'll see that, before the end of the day, late customers will see this:

Success!

Bookeo goes multilanguage

We're happy to announce a major new feature in Bookeo: support for multiple languages!
Bookeo is now available in Spanish, French and Italian - besides the default English.

Some of us working at Bookeo come from bilingual backgrounds, and so we are very aware of the fact that not everyone speaks English. So we designed Bookeo, from the ground up, to support multiple languages.

We know how frustrating it is for a person coming from a non-English speaking country to find a product that they like, but that they can't use because it's only available in English. Even if you do speak English, you cannot expect your customers to speak it too, so you cannot use the product. But not with Bookeo!

So, how does it work?
It's very simple: when you sign up for a new account, you are asked about your language in the very first page. Simply pick your language, and from that moment on everything will be in your language. This includes the administration console, the settings, the calendars, etc. Even the emails and the text messages will be in your language!

Here is a home page in Spanish.

Obviously the customer booking interface is also fully translated in the chosen language, as shown in the picture below.

Regional settings
Of course you can always change your language later, in the Settings / Regional settings page.
As a side note, in this page you can also change many other settings to better match Bookeo to your local customs, such as the date format (month/day, or day/month?), the time format, the decimal point or comma, and even what is considered to be the first day of the week in your country (Sunday or Monday?). Little details that make Bookeo really adapt to you and your customers.

Wait! There is more...
What if you want to cater for a customer base that may speak different languages? Ex. English or French (Canada?), or even English or Spanish (parts of southern USA?). No problem! You can let your customers choose their preferred language when they book.

But, you may ask, what about the names and descriptions that I input? They are in my language, so the customers will see a mix of languages. Not necessarily: if you want, you can even input all your names and descriptions in multiple languages. This will provide your customers with the ultimate service!

And more languages are coming
We are working to bring you more languages in the near future - we have big plans! If you are interested in seeing Bookeo in your own language, please drop us a line.
